Customer Service Representative - Missoula, MT
Salary: Base of $13.31 - per hour, DOE
Hours: 40 M-F, Occasional Saturday

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED, banking experience is preferred but may consider an individual with extensive customer service experience. Must be well groomed for public contact. *** Must possess a satisfactory credit rating, and be able to pass a background check.
DUTIES: Determine the customers’ financial needs and recommend the best banking services. Accept, review and approve or reject applications for products and services. Maintain existing accounts and make changes as requested. Represent the bank while completing a variety of over the counter transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cashing checks, payment processing, stop payments and currency exchanges.

Mortgage Loan Officer - Helena
Farmers State Bank is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer based out of Helena, MT. Farmers State Bank holds the number 1 market share in our primary market, and we are expanding into the Helena market area.

This means no more surprises, a peace of mind throughout the process, and confidence in delivering on your word. You’ll learn first-hand why Farmers State Bank’s unique approach to mortgage lending helps streamline the process for all involved. Mortgage Loan Officers must develop and maintain mortgage loan application volume in accordance with bank goals and expectations. Interview loan applicants, record income, debt/credit history, and request documents to verify. Underwrite loan applications according to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, investor, and internal guidelines. One must also exhibit professionalism while meeting with customers, both in person and on the phone, making sure to exceed the customer’s expectations and satisfaction. One also monitors lock-ins, commitment expirations, and status of loans to achieve timely, satisfactory closings. Participates in the banks’ business development activities, represents the bank in industry and professional associations, community organizations, local business groups, and promotes the banks’ favorable image.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Capacity to work independently, as well as with a team
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Knowledge of Conventional, VA, and/or RD loans
- Experience in the secondary market/consumer/commercial real estate lending
- Excellent skills in customer service and communication
- Past proven closed loan production of 8-18 million annually in residential lending
